I heard a lot about Italian beauty brand EspressOh and finally got a chance to try out a few of their makeup products, including the viral Glassy Blush, Sweet and Sour Eyeshadow Palette, Hi_Liner Eyeliner, and Hey Broh Eyebrow Fixing Gel, below are my EspressOh reviews and color swatches!

About EspressOh—A Beauty Brand 100% Made in Italy!

EspressOh is a clean beauty brand that’s 100% made in Italy. It’s cruelty and toxin-free, with high-performance ingredients and I’d liken it to being Europe’s answer to simple, no-makeup look type of products.

It’s designed and made for people on the go, their packaging is simple and pared down. Nothing elaborate but everything is simple just as you need them.

I also like that they are a sustainability-driven beauty brand, where they eliminate plastics from all secondary packaging, including in delivery.

EspressOh’s Eco Product Packaging

My first impression of the EspressOh products was that they have some of the cutest eco product packaging around! Does what they want but still Instagrammable and pretty!

EspressOh Sweet and Sour Eyeshadow Palette Review

The EspressOh Sweet and Sour eyeshadow palette has a powder to cream formula, and feels very velvety and beautiful going onto the skin. One swipe has great payoff and is really pigmented. Very gorgeous beautiful colors, no fallouts, and easy to work with.

Really love this! I would love to see a big eye palette from EspressOh to be honest! $29

EspressOh Hi_Liner Eyeliner Review: A Fantastic Waterproof and Smudge-proof Eyeliner for Oily Lids

EspressOh Hi_Liner eyeliner photographed on white background

The EspressOh Hi_Liner eyeliner is a waterproof and smudgeproof felt tip eyeliner.

It’s dark intense black, very pigmented and the colors dispenses easily.

The brush tip is soft, and for the waterproof and smudgeproof claims, it stayed put even when I teared up, and did not smear on my oily lids. I’ve tried many ‘smudgeproof’ eyeliners that still smudge because my eyelids are pretty oily, so I am ecstatic every time I discover one that stays put. For that alone, even though this liner is pretty pricey, I really recommend it!

Small note is that the liner’s felt tip is flexible but can easily look thick when applied, so there may be a little learning curve required if you are used to working with stiffer liners. But overall definitely give this a try if you are looking for a good waterproof and smudgeproof eyeliner! $20

EspressOh Hey Broh Clear Eyebrow Fixing Gel Review

EspressOh Sweet and Sour Eyeshadow Palette, Hi Broh eyebrow fixing gel, hi_liner eyeliner, and Glassy Blush featured in a product editorial photography on white background with dramatic shadows.

The EspressOh Hey Broh brow fixing gel is a light hold brow gel that comes in a tube with its own applicator brush wand. The product stays clear and doesn’t get too stiff. My brow hair is slightly on the stiffer end so I usually prefer something just a tad stronger, but if you are going for a natural look and just ever so slightly groomed and neat, this is a great option to consider. Small and easy to pack, and comes in a cute metal tin box that can hold other products as well! $25

The blush then reacts to your pH and has a unique color depending on your skin!

The EspressOh Glassy Blush is a super interesting product. It has a pH reagent formula where the clear gel turns into colored pigment depending on your skin tone and pH.

On my skin it turned pinkish, and the finish is glowy and dewy.

Personally, I prefer to have control over the blush color I can use on my face (I am a little biased towards warm-toned blushes!), so I think the idea of a formula like this—while it’s super unique and fresh and interesting, pragmatically speaking it also feels slightly gimmicky. However!! I think it’s a super fun product to play with with friends if you have a beauty hangout or sleepover party, and of course let’s be real, it’s also super fun to use for content creators. I can absolutely understand how it went viral on TikTok! Can’t say I wasn’t curious when I saw it all over social media myself. Gotta give credit where credit is due for coming up with such a fantastic marketing product that is both fun and sparks so much curiosity! $26
